- 14 Kt Rolled gold wire (gold filled)------This metal was used extensively in the 1800's and is very strong and durable. It is not "gold plate." It has 100 times the amount of gold than does gold plate. For $100 I can make you a piece of jewelry that looks like it cost $1,000. For $1,000, I can make you a piece of jewelry that looks like it cost $20,000. So in other words, you get all of the flash without the cash. The process of making the wire is to create one 14 Kt tube with a semi-precious metal core. This gold metal composition is what enables me to create the swirls and curls used in my special designs. The gold wire I use is made to my own specifications and each piece created carries a lifetime guarantee. What this means to you is this---if you accidentally break a piece of jewelry, I will repair or replace it for you at no charge. If you break a cameo or chip it, I will replace it for you. I will stand behind my jewelry 100%----few jewelers will give this guarantee!
- Sterling Silver wire (.925 silver)------This is normally used in the construction of sterling jewelry. It is beautiful and very economical
- Solid 14kt, 18kt, and 22kt gold wire------If you want a dynamic piece of jewelry made from this wire, please email me because it can get a little pricey.
- Non Tarnishing Sterling Silver Wire ---The processes used in the making of this wire ensure that it is highly
tarnish resistant. It has many advantages in comparison to standard
sterling silver. These include an annealed hardness that is equal to
standard sterling silver. Further hardening can be achieved by a simple
heat treatment. The wire has a lower heat conductivity which assists the
forming processes. The product is environmentally-friendly and your
production/finishing time is reduced. For your customer, jewelry made with
this wire requires minimal maintenance. An occasional wash and rinse and/or
wipe with a soft cotton cloth is all that is needed.
I use this wire for my own work and the same guarantee applies for the
jewelry that I create using this wire. Again, few jewelers can give a 100%
guarantee.
I can produce settings in just about any type of precious metal. If you have a special request, please email me.
